Other Experience

Teaching in the Canopy Connections program has been extraordinarily impactful but there many other hobbies, interests and activities that drive me. Playing music has been a passion of mine for about seven years. The music genres I most enjoy listening to and playing are blues, folk, country, and any intersection of these genres together. The visual arts have been a method of expression for me my whole life. I enjoy creating art in a variety of media including watercolor, pastel, and graphite. Other cultures have interested me whole life as well. In late March/Early April I had the opportunity to visit Italy. I was amazed at the rich history and superb art that I saw there.
